Enugu State Governor, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, on Thursday, received in audience the Baba Aladura and Prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Worldwide (ESOCS), His Most Eminence, Dr. David Bob-Manuel, alongside his wife, Prophetess Elsie Bob-Manuel, and the General Secretary of ESOCS, His Eminence, Dr. Napoleon Emuchay, during their visit to Enugu.The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the South East edition of the ESOCS Centenary Celebration held at the International Conference Centre, Enugu, provided an opportunity for the Governor to extend warm felicitations to the church on the remarkable milestone of 100 years of existence.Governor Mbah expressed his profound gratitude to the ESOCS leadership and its Advisory Board for choosing Enugu as the venue for the historic celebration. He also appreciated the church for the “Award of Honour in Recognition of Exemplary Leadership and Investment in Enugu State” presented to him, describing it as an encouragement to deepen his administration’s commitment to transformative governance.The Governor further commended the church’s planned investment in the state through the establishment of the Eternal Herald University, noting that such visionary projects align with his government’s developmental agenda.“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Enugu State, I sincerely thank you for investing your trust in our development effort. Your decision to build the Eternal Herald University here is a strong vote of confidence in our shared vision for a prosperous future,” Governor Mbah stated.He congratulated ESOCS on reaching its centenary and expressed optimism about continued partnership between the church and the Enugu State Government in advancing the social, economic, and spiritual development of the state and Nigeria at large.The centenary celebration drew dignitaries from across the country, marking a century of the church’s spiritual service, community impact, and contributions to national development.
